This speech will illustrate E.Sun Bank’s efforts in combating fraud. We will explain the cash flow patterns corresponding to fraud and explain how to use AI to analyze cash flows. The features used include cash flow features and graph features. We hope to use these features to stably find the accounts used by fraud groups and set controls in a timely manner to block fraudulent cash flows.
本篇演講將說明玉山銀行在打擊詐騙方面的努力,我們將說明詐騙所對應的金流態樣,並說明如何使用 AI 來分析金流,其中所用到的特徵有金流特徵及圖形特徵,期望能夠以這些特徵來穩定地找到詐騙集團所用的帳戶,並能及時設控,以阻斷詐騙金流。

Dr. Jyh-Shing Roger Jang holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He began his career as a software engineer at MathWorks in the United States before transitioning to academia as a professor at National Tsing Hua University’s Department of Computer Science. He also served as Director of the Information Office at NTU Hospital and was the founding Director of NTU’s FinTech Research Center.
Currently, Dr. Jang is the CTO of E.SUN FHC and an adjunct professor in the CSIE department at NTU. With extensive experience in academia and industry, he excels at bridging technology and finance, fostering collaboration, and facilitating the integration of new technologies into banking to drive internal technological innovation.
Dr. Jang’s research expertise encompasses machine learning applications in speech recognition and synthesis, music analysis and retrieval, document classification, as well as image recognition. He has authored nearly 200 academic papers and has led over 90 research initiatives and industry-academic collaborations. His 1993 paper on ANFIS has been cited over 10,000 times on Google Scholar.
張智星科技長於加州大學柏克萊分校的電機電腦博士畢業後,先後於美國 MathWorks 公司任職、清大資訊系任教、台大醫院擔任資訊室主任,亦為台大金融科技研究中心的首任主任。
目前擔任玉山金控科技長,同時兼任台大資工系教授,擅長於跨域跨界的合作,扮演科技人與金融人交流激盪的橋樑,並媒合學術界與產業界的資源,為銀行注入更多的科技元素,打造銀行裡的科技業。
研究專長包含機器學習的應用,包含語音、音樂、文件、影像辨識等領域。累積發表近 200 篇學術論文,並完成 90 多項各種研究計畫及產學合作案。1993 年的 ANFIS 論文在 Google Scholar 被引用次數超過一萬次。
